Who We Help
Local Parents, Children, Individuals, and Families in need
Learn about our work with Rochester's Society for the Protection
and Care of Children through Listen To Your Mother, Rochester productions since 2015.
We're also happy to announce our partnership with Rochester's Healthy Baby Network to bring "Bear With Me: Stories of Labor and Birth" to the local stage in June, 2019.
Our Community
Live storytelling events
help bridge gaps of
cultural and interpersonal understanding:
telling our stories build
in listeners empathy, compassion, and sometimes, a call to action. We partnered with The Levine Center To End Hate in 2024 and 2025 to bring stories about shared humanity to the mic. The Levine Center is committed to uniting the Greater Rochester Community through education, dialogue, and positive action.
Your Organization

Those with a story to tell
Roc The Mic Productions stages live readings by local people about their true stories.
We believe that the power of story can heal its teller, inspire listeners, unite a community, create connection,
and raise awareness.
We support Rochester's women and children,
its at-risk populations, &
its marginalized voices.
